'morro' is a project conceived by Vasco Costa and Hugo Canoilas taking place at Projecto270's organic farm at Costa da Caparica.

The project emerged out from notions of construction and popular architecture, from the historical references of K. Schwitters’ Merzbau and the work of Helio Oiticica. It is a temporary construction evolving over a period of five months through the collaboration of a group of artists working consecutively. Each artist works in response to the previous, forming a 'creative capital' from which to offer the next artist.

'morro' involves Pedro Barateiro, Hugo Canoilas, Vasco Costa, Nuno Faria, Teresa Gillespie, Andre Maranha, Pedro Tropa, Francisco Tropa, Ruben Santiago, Sancho Silva and Nuno Delmas , and Miles Thurlow.

'morro' began June 2007 and will continue until 15 October 2007.
